Compete on steps, distance, workouts, exercise minutes, active calories, consistency, or improvement. Challenge creators decide how many points each enabled metric is worth.
Every move is a matchup
FitVerse
Turn activity already recorded by Apple Health into private competitions, custom point systems, live leaderboards, rivalries, achievements, and progress worth checking throughout the day.
Fitness becomes a friendly competition
FitVerse is built around the competitive layer—not another passive health dashboard. See your position, each competitor's recent rank movement, the gap to the next position, and exactly what it takes to move up.
Live standings show rank movement, distance from the leader, verification status, and challenge time remaining.
XP, streaks, achievements, and personal-improvement challenges reward participation and consistency—not only the highest raw fitness totals.
Privacy is part of the scoring system
Apple Health queries and raw-sample processing happen on your iPhone. You choose each metric FitVerse may read and whether it may be shared in joined challenges. FitVerse sends challenge totals only after you approve sharing for that challenge, never precise workout routes or an entire Apple Health history.
Privacy Policy
Effective August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FitVerse, developed by Richard Lavey, collects, uses, shares, protects, and deletes information when you use the FitVerse iPhone application. FitVerse is a fitness and social-competition service and is not a medical service.
1. Information You Choose to Provide
When you create a FitVerse account, FitVerse may collect a username, display name, chosen avatar, optional biography, optional age range, optional general home region, profile privacy setting, favorite activity, and the achievements you choose to showcase. Do not put sensitive health or medical information in public profile fields.
FitVerse also stores social and competition information needed for features you request, such as friend requests, friendships, blocks, challenge invitations and memberships, challenge rules, reactions, XP, earned achievements, completed mission identifiers, and result history. Detailed personal-record values, Health-derived streak histories, and personal goals are not sent to FitVerse services. If you choose a recap, result, record, achievement, level, or streak share-card action, FitVerse creates a temporary card on your device from the signed-in user's profile and the selected weekly activity, fitness milestone, or competition result; a result card also includes the selected challenge title. The card is sent only to the destination you select in the iOS share sheet. Copies shared outside FitVerse are then controlled by the selected recipient or service.
2. Sign in with Apple
FitVerse uses Sign in with Apple and Firebase Authentication to create and protect your account. Apple supplies a stable account identifier and, only when you choose to share them, your name and email address. You may use Apple's Hide My Email feature. FitVerse does not receive your Apple Account password.
3. Apple Health and Fitness Data
FitVerse requests read-only Apple Health access only for the activity types you enable. These may include steps, walking and running distance, running distance, cycling distance, swimming distance, active energy, exercise minutes, stand hours, flights climbed, workout count and duration, supported workout categories, pace, active days, and goal-completion days.
Raw Apple Health samples are queried and aggregated on your device. FitVerse does not upload an entire Apple Health history, precise workout routes, or individual raw HealthKit samples. For a challenge, FitVerse uploads only enabled, non-sensitive aggregate metrics required by its rules after you explicitly approve sharing for that challenge. The upload also includes its scoring period, update time, and a general source-verification label. Joining a group alone does not approve Health-data sharing for later group challenges.
When you complete a local fitness mission, FitVerse may store the mission identifier and reward period so it can award XP once. It does not upload the mission's exact Health value or your personal goal.
Heart rate, weight, sleep, VO₂ max, and other sensitive health metrics are optional, default to private, and are not eligible for public competition sharing in FitVerse 1.0. FitVerse never sells Health data, uses it for advertising, or shares it with data brokers.
4. Integrity and Fairness Information
For challenges that use verification controls, FitVerse may process HealthKit source metadata available to the app to label totals as device-verified, mixed-source, manually entered, or unavailable. FitVerse may create a neutral review flag when an aggregate appears implausible or unusually high. A flag is not an accusation of cheating and is not used for advertising or unrelated profiling.
5. Notifications and Device Information
If you allow notifications, FitVerse enables Firebase Messaging and stores a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so it can send the categories you enable: challenge invitations, meaningful rank changes, and challenge timing or results. An optional streak-at-risk reminder is calculated and scheduled locally on your iPhone. When you sign out, FitVerse removes its local token copy, asks the service to detach the token from your account, invalidates the Firebase Messaging token, cancels pending local reminders, and clears delivered FitVerse notifications; account deletion does the same and removes stored tokens. FitVerse also detaches and invalidates the token when it next detects that notifications are no longer authorized. Firebase may process technical device identifiers, operational metadata, and non-linked diagnostic information needed to deliver, secure, analyze reliability of, and maintain these services. FitVerse does not use an advertising identifier, cross-app tracking, or behavioral/product analytics.
6. How Information Is Used
FitVerse uses information only to authenticate your account; provide profiles, friends, blocks, challenges, leaderboards, results, progress, integrity controls, sharing, and notifications; maintain offline synchronization; secure the service; prevent abuse; answer support requests; and comply with legal obligations. FitVerse does not use collected data for third-party advertising or behavioral marketing.
7. Service Providers and Disclosure
FitVerse uses Google Firebase as a data processor for authentication, cloud storage, server-side challenge scoring, push-message delivery, security, and service-reliability diagnostics. Firebase processes information on FitVerse's behalf under protections that must be consistent with this policy and applicable Apple requirements. Learn more in Firebase's privacy and security documentation.
FitVerse may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service from fraud or harm, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice and protections. FitVerse does not sell personal information.
8. Visibility and Your Choices
Each eligible metric can be disabled and set either to Private or Share in Joined Challenges. Sensitive metrics remain Private. Older Friends or Everyone metric choices are migrated to Private until you confirm the current challenge-sharing control. Each challenge has a separate sharing approval that you can turn off. You can revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings or the Health app, change notification permission in iOS Settings, remove or block users, and change FitVerse's in-app controls at any time. Disabling a metric stops future reads and submissions for that metric but does not remove totals already submitted. Stopping sharing with an active challenge removes your submitted totals, baseline, and live standings entry from that challenge; blocking its creator performs the same revocation before hiding the challenge. Stopping sharing does not retroactively alter finalized challenge history. Account deletion removes shared aggregates and anonymizes only identifiers that must remain in shared competition or safety history.
9. Storage, Retention, Export, and Deletion
FitVerse uses a memory-only Firebase database cache and separately caches your profile, active challenges, recent leaderboard, personal statistics, and pending synchronization in the protected app sandbox for controlled offline use. Health-derived cache files and pending fitness totals are excluded from device and iCloud backup. Shared account and competition information is retained while your account is active and as needed to operate challenge history, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.
FitVerse stores a protected, backup-excluded App Group snapshot for its widget and Watch companion. It may contain a challenge name, rank, score, leader name and gap, today's step total, current streak, and update time, and may be sent to your paired Apple Watch. Live Activities are off by default; if you enable them, an active short challenge may show its name, rank, score, leader gap, and remaining time on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Blocking a user clears the current snapshot and ends any FitVerse Live Activity so the blocked identity cannot remain on a companion surface. Signing out or deleting your account also clears these snapshots and ends FitVerse Live Activities.
You can export a readable copy of your FitVerse profile, sharing preferences, and challenges from the app. The export is created locally and leaves FitVerse only when you choose its file destination; saved or shared copies are controlled by that destination. You can also choose “Delete FitVerse account and data” in Privacy & Sharing. That request removes your authentication account, profile, username reservation, social relationships, notification token, challenge and group memberships, leaderboard and season entries, shared aggregates, reactions, activities, and achievements. FitVerse anonymizes the creator, winner, record-holder, and moderation-report identifiers that must remain for understandable competition history, group continuity, and user-safety review. A shared group's name and rules may remain for its other members after administration transfers to a remaining member. To stop delayed or scheduled work from recreating deleted account data, FitVerse permanently retains a server-only, one-way hash derived from the former account identifier. This deletion-integrity marker cannot be used to recover the identifier and contains no profile, social, or fitness data. Limited encrypted backups may persist temporarily according to the service provider's backup lifecycle before being overwritten.
Deleting FitVerse does not delete information stored by Apple Health because FitVerse neither owns nor writes that data. You control Apple Health information through Apple's Health app and device settings.
10. Security
FitVerse uses Apple platform protections, authenticated connections, server-side authorization rules, Firebase App Check, least-privilege database rules, and server-calculated rankings. No service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account is compromised, contact the developer promptly.
11. Children's Privacy
FitVerse is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact the developer so it can be reviewed and deleted. Local law may require a higher minimum age in some regions.
12. International Processing
FitVerse and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your location. FitVerse uses service providers and safeguards appropriate to the service.
13. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when FitVerse features or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new effective date. FitVerse will provide additional notice in the app when a material change requires it.

Community Guidelines
FitVerse is for supportive fitness competition. Do not post harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual or exploitative material, impersonation, spam, or content that encourages self-harm or illegal activity. User-entered profile, challenge, and group text is screened for high-risk prohibited content.
You can report a user, challenge, group, or activity from its safety menu and block another user from their profile or shared content. Blocking removes direct social interaction and hides that person's identity from your social, leaderboard, group, and competition-history views. Safety reports are retained for review, and accounts or content may be restricted or removed when these rules are violated. For urgent safety concerns, use the support contact below; contact local emergency services when someone may be in immediate danger.
Support
For help, feedback, account-deletion assistance, or a safety concern, email updates@realexpense.com. Include your iOS version and a short description of what happened. Do not email Apple Health screenshots, workout routes, passwords, or other sensitive information.
